The Helsinki City Running Day is postponed to autumn. The new event date is set for October 2nd, 2021. As last year, the event premises will be located at the iconic and renewed Helsinki Olympic Stadium. The decision to postpone the event is based on the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic regarding the possibility to arrange mass events.
To be able to secure the safety of participants is most important for us. During early October last year, we managed to organise a safe and successful event with special arrangements. Due to last year’s success, the event organisation has gathered valuable experience and readiness to organize a safe Helsinki City Running Day event also this autumn.
All Helsinki City Running Day registrations received so far will be automatically transferred to the new event date. Participants will also have the additional option of transferring their registration to the 2022 event. Transfers to next year’s event need to be done latest by September 1st, 2021. More detailed information will be sent to all participants by e-mail (please also check your junk mail folder).
