START, ROUTE AND FINISH
Start
The Helsinki City 5 starts at 10 a.m. The start is at Mäntymäentie street which is the same place where all other distances start too.
The Helsinki City 5 results are based on runners’ net times (time from crossing start line to crossing finish line). Therefore, runners do not need to rush to the start line, as their timing will not start before they crossed the start line. Elite runners’ times will also be reported as gross times for result/statistic services.
Note! Runners shall not cover their bib number with their hands neither when crossing the start nor the finish line.
The walkers of the Helsinki City 5 Walk will start right after the runners. Before the start, the walkers will group on Paavo Nurmi road.
There is no timing on Helsinki City 5 Walk.
